A popular tourist land train will resume service in a North-east town from next week.
The Stonehaven Land Train, operated by the Stonehaven Town Partnership (STP), has been a success since its first journey in 2014.
It will start operating again on Saturday March 31 and will run daily over the Easter school holidays, before moving to weekends until the summer school holidays.
Leaving from Market Square, it runs at noon, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Fares for adults cost £5, and £3 for children aged two and above.
STP is still looking for additional drivers and storytellers to work on the land train and give a guided tour of the various attractions in the town.
Anyone with a PSV/PCV licence on a manual gearbox and a certificate of professional competence, or those who are interested in becoming a storyteller, are asked to e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
