Residents are treated with kindness and respect at a North-east sheltered housing complex, inspectors have said.
The Care Inspectorate sent a team to Abbey Court on Sutherland Drive, Mintlaw, on October 18 and they have now published their inspection report.
They awarded the facility a “very good” rating for care, support, staffing, management and leadership – the second best of six possible ratings.
The report said: “During our inspection we observed people being treated in a kind and respectful way.
“Time was taken to encourage people. As a result, people had confidence in the staff’s abilities.
“People would have no concerns raising issues with staff.”
Residents told inspectors they thought it was “a fine place to stay” and described the staff as “all wonderful”.
One of the resident’s daughters said: “I have never seen my mother so happy.”
Another relative said: “The manager is very approachable.”
