A popular north-east runner has been chosen to open an annual market.
Kelsey Stewart will open the Feein Market in Stonehaven this weekend.
Preparations have been ongoing for months by the Lions Club in the seaside town.
The event on Saturday is expected to draw thousands to the area.
Kelsey, who is from Stonehaven, was part of Team Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in Australia.
The runner did not compete in the 4×400 relay in the end but has always received support from the Lions Club.
Entertainment is scheduled throughout the day.
Dance groups will be on the stage performing and the Mackie Academy Rock Challenge team, who are sponsored by the Lions Club, will entertain the crowds.
The Town Hall will also have a full programme throughout the day.
