A north-east rugby player has been reunited with the teammates who saved his life after his heart stopped for seven minutes.
Chris Arnott was taking part in a training session with Fraserburgh Rugby Club last month when he suddenly collapsed and suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch.
His quick-thinking teammates saved his life after performing CPR and using a nearby defibrillator to get his heart started again.
Their actions saw them named as finalists in the Unsung Heroes category at the Great Scot Awards held at the Double Tree Hilton in Glasgow.
They met a host of famous faces at the glittering event including the Krankies, broadcaster Jackie Bird and Still Game actor Sanjeev Kohli.

“I was there for them and to see how happy they were made me feel like I was able to give a little back to them.”
