
A person has been taken to hospital after a serious two-car crash on a busy North-east road.
It happened on the A975 Cruden Bay to Newburgh road at about 5.50pm.
The road has now been closed in both directions following the collision.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were all called to the crash.
It involved a silver Vauxhall Vectra and a grey Audi.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “The road has been closed in both directions.
“We know that a person has been taken to hospital following the crash.”
