A male has been cut free by fire crews following a two-vehicle crash on a north-east road.
The incident happened on the A90 at the Toll of Birness junction.
A police statement had said the road was closed in both directions and asked people to avoid the area, but the road is now open again southbound.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland added: “It was reported to us at 3.50pm.
“It’s involving two vehicles.”
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We had a report it was a two-vehicle RTC
“We removed a casualty from the vehicle and they used stabilisation gear to stabilise the car and clippers and spreaders.”
She added the casualty was male but could not give an age.
A police spokesman confirmed the male’s injuries were not life-threatening.
Fire crews left the scene at 4.40pm.
The road reopened shortly after 6pm.
