Flooding has forced the closure of a road in Aberdeenshire.
The junction of the A937 and the A90 is closed in both directions and there is also no access from the A92 into Marykirk.
Aberdeenshire Council have said via Facebook: “We will endeavour to reopen the roads as soon as possible once it is safe to do so. For information and advice about roads in Aberdeenshire visit Aberdeenshire roads Twitter.”
The Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) has issued a flood alert for the North-east, following forecasts of heavy rain along with the melting of snow from last week’s Beast from the East.
