A lorry was involved in a three-vehicle crash on a north-east road.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A90, south of Peterhead, just after 2pm today.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We received reports of a crash involving three vehicles.
“Ambulance are in attendance, but there were not thought to be any serious injuries.
“Fire attended due to a smell of burning from one of the vehicles.
“The road was closed at the McDonald’s roundabout and the south side of the road to Boddam while we awaited vehicle recovery, and it was reopened just after 4pm.”
The crash involved a white Dacia Duster, a green Citroen Berlingo and a blue Renault HGV.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to the scene by police following concerns one of the vehicles was smoking.
“We have now left the scene.”
