The winners are due to be announced in a ceremony this October.
Co-owners Noel Brown and Ewen Lovie spoke of their delight at making it to the finals of the awards.
They said: “It’s an amazing feeling being shortlisted for the awards but what makes it even better is the fact it was our customers who put us there.
“In this industry it is the ultimate reward knowing that your customers value your efforts so highly.
“So, with that in mind I would like to thank everyone who voted, everyone who pops in to see us and the 6000+ people that interact with us regularly on our Facebook page.”
The chip shop has also received nominations for a number of other awards this year.
These include being shortlisted in the top three best newcomers to the fish and chip industry in 2018 in the UK by the National Federation of Fish Friers.
The eatery was also hailed as one of the top 10 best takeaway shops in Scotland in this year’s Entertainment and Hospitality awards.
