The North-east has recorded the UK’s warmest temperature of the year so far.
The temperature in Braemar reached 18.6C (65.48F) yesterday, according to the Met Office.
Other areas in Aberdeenshire as well as Aberdeen have also recorded some of the best spells of sunshine in the UK this week.
A Met Office spokesman said: “The further away you were from the coast the warmer it was.
“Saturday will be mostly dry while Sunday will also be dry with more sunny intervals.”
