ENGINEERS are this evening working to restore electricity to 14 properties across the North-east.
SSE has two customers in the Stonehaven area without power and 12 in Skene.
The firm is hoping to get them back on supply soon.
An SSE spokesman said: “I would like to apologise to our customers for any inconvenience these power cuts are causing.
“We are doing everything we can to get the power back on as safely and quickly as possible.”
Throughout the day, hundreds of homes in the region have been without power.
Properties in Lumphanan, Banchory, Alford, Craigievar, Strachan and Peterhead were among the areas affected by the failures.
One of the power cuts was caused by a fallen tree which brought down a line, resulting in a loss of power to homes in the AB33 area.
A power cut also hit the AB31 area after another tree hit the lines.
Another power cut in the AB12 postcode area, around Bridge of Dee and Banchory-Devenick.
Engineers from SSE were at the scene of each outage.
