North-east men’s shed uses grant to buy defibrilator

A men’s shed has received grants which have allowed them to purchase a defibrillator.

Turriff Men’s Shed received 15 separate £1,000 grants from older-age charity AGE Scotland, which allowed them to purchase the device.

The group now has a reconditioned NHS model, with a battery that will last until 2028.

It will be kept at the shed, and the group welcome employees of nearby stores and residents to use it.
