A north-east man has appeared in court charged with the death of another man.
Patrick Phinn, 48, from Ellon, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court yesterday, charged with the death of 38-year-old Ronald Pattison of Carriden Place, Glasgow.
Police officers and the Scottish Ambulance Service were called to a house in Durno Path, Easterhouse, at around 6.50pm on Monday.
Mr Pattison and another man were found with serious injuries.
Mr Pattison died shortly afterwards, with the other man taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and treated for his injuries.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court, Phinn made no plea and was remanded in custody.
He is expected to appear in court again within eight days. Flowers were left outside the home of Mr Pattison in the hours after the incident was reported.
One tribute read: “Here lies a soldier.
“Rest easy, Ronnie boy.”
Reports said he was well-known within the community, and known as Ronnie to friends and family.
