A man has admitted getting behind the wheel while disqualified.
Michael Stephen, 28, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday over the offence on Kingsfield Road, Kintore.
He pled guilty to driving while disqualified and also without insurance on Tuesday.
Defence agent Liam McAllister said: “He’s more than aware that due to his utter stupidity all sentencing options are open.”
He added his client is in full-time employment as a gardener and is the sole provider for his family.
Sheriff Sukhwinder Gill told Stephen, of Howieslap, Kintore: “Given the nature of the charge to which you’ve pled guilty I’m going to call for reports.”
Sheriff Gill deferred sentence on Stephen until October 31 and further disqualified him from driving in the interim period.
