A north-east lifeboat was launched after a creel boat was reported struggling with no power.
The Peterhead RNLI Tamar lifeboat The Misses Robertson of Kintail was requested to launch yesterday at 4.28pm to help the two crew members on the catamaran four miles north-east of Peterhead.
The RNLI crew towed the boat to Peterhead Harbour.
The boat was berthed at Peterhead South Harbour at 6.45pm, and the lifeboat returned to its berth.
It was the The Misses Robertson of Kintail’s first launch after recently undergoing a refit by UK Coastguard.
The Peterhead RNLI team have urged anyone interested in volunteering for the charity as part of the fundraising team or crew to get in touch with them on 01779 473331.
