A north-east housebuilder has chosen its annual charity for 2019.
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) Scotland has received the support of Barratt Homes’ North Scotland division after being chosen as its charity of the year.
Throughout this year, staff at the firm’s north division, based in Balmedie, Aberdeenshire, will work together to raise as much as possible to help the nation’s heart charity fund research.
David Palmer, managing director at Barratt Homes North Scotland, said: “Each year, we choose a charity that is close to our hearts and work tirelessly to raise thousands of pounds.
“Our efforts culminate in a special charity dinner where we invite those that have helped us on our fundraising mission to celebrate, learn more about the charity and its work in our communities.”
James Cant, BHF Scotland director, said they were “absolutely delighted” by the support.
