A north-east charity has been nominated for a national cash award.
Home-Start Kincardine is on the shortlist for funding from Scotmid Co-operative’s Community Connect initiative.
The charity is now in with a chance of being awarded £15,000 to communicate the services they provide to families in need.
Board member Ian Anderson said: “Home-Start Kincardine is delighted to be chosen as one of the charities that Scotmid customers can choose to support through the Community Connect scheme.”
Scotmid members collect votes by swiping their Community Connect card during every in-store purchase and they can then cast their votes in-store.
