North-east swimmers waded into freezing waters to raise funds for the RNLI.
Fraserburgh Lifeboat station successfully organised its 10th Boxing Day Swim fundraising event to help save lives at sea.
Victor Sutherland, coxswain at Fraserburgh Lifeboat, said he was “over the moon” at this year’s turn-out for event at the lifeboat station.
He added: “We had 27 swimmers and all swimmers finished the swim successfully with no problems.
“They managed to do it in half an hour.
“We’ve managed to raise more than £2,000 and I’m overwhelmed with the support we’ve received on and off the shore.”
