£370,000 has been invested into the facility, which is based at Powis Place student accommodation near the city centre.

Simon West, head of operations at Homes for Students, which manages Powis Place, hopes the facility will support students in keeping healthy during their studies.
He said: “We think it’s incredible that we can offer the students at Powis Place the support and encouragement to lead healthy, active lives while at university.
“We look forward to exploring further ways in which we can support our university residents and give them the best experience.”
