A new app has been launched to help Aberdeen shoppers find their perfect outfit.
Using the Style Seeker app, people will be able to take pictures of individual items of your dream outfit from magazines, social media or out and about on the high street.
The programme’s AI will then look at the colour, shape and patterns to find a similar product at one of Union Square’s shops – and then tell you exactly where that shop is!
Superdry, River Island and Boux Avenue are just some of the retailers featured on the app.
And “living mannequins” took over the city centre shopping people to help people use the new app.
The app was launched on the back of a new survey which showed that 56% of people in Scotland agreed they were confused about when they should stop wearing a particular type of clothing.
Lynne McInness, Marketing Manger at Union Square, said: “Style Seeker is the perfect accessory for people who get struck down by style inspiration in the street – and truly love the art of shopping.
“As well as being easy to use, it caters to every budget. Clothing from fashion weeks and couture shows is filtering down into high street shops quicker than ever before – and this functionality makes sure you never miss a trend.”
The Style Seeker app is available within the Union Square Plus app on both Android and iOS.
