An Aberdeen supermarket has confirmed its latest store will open its doors to customers this week.
The Lidl shop, on the corner of Wellington Road and Greenwell Road in Aberdeen, will launch at 8am tomorrow – replacing its existing store on Wellington Road.
The new supermarket forms part of the company’s ongoing expansion and regeneration plans in the UK which will see it open up to 50 new stores a year.
A total of 25 new jobs have also been created and new facilities in the store will include a bakery.
Lidl UK’s regional head of property Gordon Rafferty said: “We would like to thank all those who have played a part in improving our Lidl store in Torry, Aberdeen.
“It is great for us to be able to create more jobs and investment opportunities in the area, and we can’t wait to start serving our multi-award winning products to the local community once again.”
