An MSP is “delighted” at the creation of 20 new jobs in Aberdeen.
Kevin Stewart has welcomed an announcement from BT that will see the positions come to Aberdeen.
BT announced more than 1,000 new customer service posts, with 20 expected to be located within the Aberdeen Central constituency that Mr Stewart represents.
The SNP MSP said: “I am delighted to hear that BT will be creating 20 new permanent jobs in our city.
“I’m pleased to see BT joining the growing number of businesses that are investing in Aberdeen in recent times.
“This will be a boost to the local economy and I hope it will also improve the product on offer to BT customers across the region.”
The customer advisor roles will be created across BT’s consumer division in the UK and Ireland to fulfil its “promise to provide the best and most personal support for customers”.
