An Aberdeen university is to hold two screenings over the summer as part of a project to help raise awareness on mental health.
Robert Gordon University will be showing Mamma Mia on July 25.
Members of the public have been invited along to the event.
Mental Health Movie Monthly screens films with mental health-related themes, which are followed by discussions in a bid to break the stigma over speaking about the issues.
Scott Macpherson and Dan Warrender, mental health lecturers at Robert Gordon University, started the project to help others.
The initiative has been running since June 2016.
Next month a screening of Disney classic Pinocchio will be shown.
The event takes place on August 13.
Dan said: “Both showings are at 5pm until 8pm in room N242 of the Sir Ian Wood Building in Garthdee.
“As always staff, students and the general public are welcome.
“Refreshments will be free of charge and available. A discussion around mental health will follow.”
