Jewellery and Chinese currency have been stolen during a break-in at a property in Aberdeen.
The items – including several hundred pounds of Chinese Yuan – were taken the Hillview Road area of Peterculter yesterday evening.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Machray, who is leading the investigation, said: “Extensive inquiries are ongoing into this incident, which includes house-to-house inquiries in the area.
“In saying this if you think you have information which could assist but have not yet spoken to police, please contact 101 as soon as possible quoting reference number 3144 of June 21.
“Alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 to remain anonymous.
“We are particularly keen to know if you saw two men in the area around the time in question?
“Any details of suspicious activity including people or vehicles could be extremely helpful, aswell as private CCTV footage or dashcam footage if you were passing by.
“Crime of this nature is extremely rare in this area, so when an incident like this is reported to police every effort is made to identify those responsible – it won’t be tolerated.”
