Hundreds of Aberdeen residents have been left without power today.
People in the Danestone and Broomhill areas of the Granite City have experienced outages.
More than 650 homes in Danestone are affected by the outage, which happened at 1.05pm.
The outage also hit the Tesco Extra store in the area, causing customers to be evacuated from the supermarket.
Power was restored by SSE at around 2.55pm today.
A spokeswoman for SSE said: “We apologise to those who have suffered a loss of power. We currently have engineers on scene at the outage in Danestone working hard to establish what happened and to repair the fault and we expect the supply to be returned by this afternoon.”
Around 20 homes in the Broomhill Road area also experienced an outage this morning, which SSE said was first reported at 7.10am.
According to the spokeswoman, the power was returned in stages, with customers being reconnected fully by 12.10pm.
