More than 387 north-east patients did not turn up for their hospital appointments last week.
That is according to NHS Grampian figures which show that 6% of patients due to attend appointments at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary failed to show.
The figures, for between September 24-30, also showed that of 1,179 patients who attended accident and emergency, 89.5% were assessed and discharged or admitted within four hours.

A total of 1,441 patients were seen in the outpatient departments of Dr Gray’s Hospital, and 54 people – representing 4% – did not attend their appointments.
Of the 342 patients who attended Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital’s (RACH) emergency department, 98.8% were assessed and admitted or discharged within four hours.
Staff at RACH also performed 54 planned operations and 21 emergency operations.
