Fire crews were called to a blaze at a north-east home.
Twenty four firefighters tackled the blaze, on Addison Crescent in Banff, which was reported at 5.05pm yesterday.
The crews used six breathing apparatuses and one hose reel jet.
There are currently not thought to be any suspicious circumstances, but the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are currently investigating the cause.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We had 24 firefighters in attendance at an incident in Addison Crescent, Banff.
“We received a call at 5.05pm, and the fire was extinguished by 5.45pm.
“No one was hurt or needed to be rescued.”
Police Scotland was also in attendance at the blaze.
A spokesman for the police said: “We were alerted by the fire service at 5.10pm, and attended the scene.
“There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances, but colleagues at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are currently working to determine the cause.”
