An Aberdeen hospital has seen more than 1,100 people visit its emergency department in the last week.
Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) dealt with 1,166 patients at A&E between August 27 and September 2, with 91.5% assessed and admitted or discharged within four hours.
For the same period, 371 children attended A&E at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital (RACH), with 99.5% admitted or leaving the hospital within the four-hour timescale.
At ARI, 302 planned operations and 96 emergency operations were carried out, while at RACH the number of procedures was 58 and 18 emergency operations.
The figures also show 7,143 people attended ARI’s outpatient departments and reveal 470 (6%) did not attend their appointments.
