A North-east man has died in a motorbike accident in Thailand.
Steven Kerr, who was originally from Montrose but had recently been based in Pattaya, died last Friday after his Yamaha NMax bike collided with a lamppost.
The bike was found in a central reservation near the Pattaya Elephant Camp after the accident. Na Jomtien Police are investigating the crash.
A spokesman for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said: “Our staff have assisted the family of a British man following his death in Thailand.”
After attending Montrose Academy he embarked on offshore work and specialised as a cyber driller.
