Three men have appeared in court following the seizure of £85,000 of drugs.
Daniel Lewis, 22, Liam Paterson, 19, and William Smith, 18, appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court yesterday.
Lewis, of no fixed abode, Paterson, of Aberdeen, and Smith, of Birkenhead, all made no plea and were remanded in custody. The case was committed for further examination.
It comes after £85,000 of “crack” cocaine and heroin, along with more than £1,000, was seized from two vehicles during an operation involving CID officers, road policing officers and dog handlers.
The seizures took place on the Auchiries to Wellbank road near Hatton, and in the Hilton area of Aberdeen on Wednesday.
