Two men have been charged over 10 alleged incidents of thefts and attempted thefts in the North-east.
Police have confirmed that a 29 and 32-year-old from Elgin are set to appear in court today over the incidents.
Officers received reports of 10 separate incidents between January and March in Elgin and Buckie whereby diesel, tools and other electrical equipment were taken.
PC Rosanagh Davison, who led inquiries, said: “Thank you to all those who provided information in connection with this investigation.
“Acquisitive crimes in the Moray area are rare so when they do happen we use every resource available to us to detect them.
“It goes without saying that local businesses should be able to operate without the fear of being targeted however it is crucial that owners think about having robust security measures in place to deter potential thieves.
