A memorial service will be held this weekend to remember those killed at work.
The annual International Workers’ Memorial Day Service will be held on Sunday at Persley Walled Garden, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, at 12.30pm for a 1pm start.
The ceremony, organised by Aberdeen Trade Union Council, will see wreaths laid and a minute’s silence observed for those who have lost their lives.
The service is one of many taking place across the world.
Speakers from political parties and trade unions will be at the event calling for more robust health and safety in workplaces.
