A city centre road will be closed for a day for a street market next month.
Part of George Street will be shut to traffic between its junctions with Loch Street and St Andrew Street.
Drivers will be unable to use the route between 7am and 7pm due to the closure on October 6.
Fraser Bell, head of legal and democratic services at Aberdeen City Council, said the closure was to protect public safety during a street market that will be held next month.
He said: “The effect of the order, which will operate from 7am until 7pm on October 6 2018, is to close George Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Loch Street and St Andrew Street.
“The measure is necessary to protect public safety during a street market.
