Man treated for smoke inhalation after Aberdeen flat fire

Fire crews were called to a blaze at a flat in Aberdeen today after cooking was left unattended.

Two appliances were called to the property at Johnston Gardens West, Peterculter at 4.52pm today.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Cooking was left unattended at a first floor flat.

“One man was treated by ambulance after suffering from smoke inhalation.”

The fire was under control by 5.15pm.
