Man charged after police seize £5,500 of class A drugs in Aberdeen

A man is set to appear in court after drugs with a street value of more than £5000 was recovered in Aberdeen.

Heroin and cocaine with a street value of around £5500 has been recovered following an intelligence-led operation in the Seaton Walk area of the city.

As a result a 21-year-old man has been charged and was anticipated to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.

The drugs were recovered on Monday.

Detective Inspector Allen Shaw said: “We are committed to targeting the illegal supply of drugs in the North-east.

“We rely on our communities to report any concerning or suspicious behaviour to police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.”
