A man has been taken to hospital after his car caught fire following a crash on the A96.
The incident, involving a black Vauxhall Astra, happened at the Kinellar roundabout on the A96.
Police managed to extinguish the blaze before firefighters arrived.
The male driver has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We were made aware of the incident at 3pm.
“A black Vauxhall Astra collided with the Kinellar roundabout, setting it alight.
“One male driver was involved in the incident with no other cars were involved.
“The fire service were called to the scene.
“The male driver was taken to ARI to be checked over.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman added: “We were called to the scene after being informed that a car had gone on fire.
“The fire had been extinguished by police before our arrival.”
