A man has had to be rescued following an “industrial accident” in Inverurie.
The man is thought to have been working underground.
Emergency Services were called to the scene on Keithall Road, Inverurie at 17.32pm after being alerted by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
Injuries are not thought to be serious, with the man conscious and breathing while being treated.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent one appliance to the scene, which offered the use of a spine board for the injured man.
Police Scotland officers were in attendance to offer general assistance.
The nature of the man’s work is not yet known.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police Scotland were called by the ambulance service at 17.32pm, saying a male had injured himself within the water plant.
“He appeared to have been working underground, and injured himself.
“It does not appear to be serious, he is conscious and breathing.
“It came in as an industrial accident, and if the incident is reported to the Health and Safety Executive, we would then pass it on.”
