
man was taken to hospital after a two-car collision which closed a North-east road for more than an hour.
Police were called to the A98 between Fraserburgh and Macduff at just after 2.35pm following reports of a collision involving a blue Mercedes a white Seat.
A Police Scotland spokesman said one of the drivers was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution as he had sustained minor injuries.
“Officers were called to the road between Fraserburgh and Macduff at 2.35pm after receiving reports of a two-vehicle collision.
“One driver has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
“The road was closed in both directions until 4.10pm when the westbound lane reopened. The road fully reopened a short time later.”
