A north-east man has appeared in court charged in connection with a drugs discovery worth £1,000.
The appearance comes after cocaine worth around £1,000 was seized from a property in Buckie at the weekend.
A search warrant was executed at a property on the town’s Ewing Crescent where the drugs were recovered.
Ross Sherman, 28, appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court charged in connection with the matter.
Sherman, whose general address was described as Moray, is facing a charge of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
He was also charged with drugs possession.
During the hearing he made no plea.
The case against him was committed for further examination and he was remanded in custody.
A spokesman for the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service said no further dates had been set for future appearances.
