A MAN has appeared in court in connection with a drugs seizure worth more than £140,000.
James Metcalf, 34, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in relation to a recovery of heroin.
It comes after the class A drugs were recovered from the Crimond area of Aberdeenshire.
Metcalf, whose general address was described as Walton, is facing three charges.
He appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, accused of two counts of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
Metcalf is also facing a charge of concealing criminal property.
He made no plea or declaration during his appearance.
The case against him was committed for further examination.
Metcalf was remanded in custody, and no further dates have been set for future court appearances.
