
A man has appeared in court charged in connection with a drugs seizure worth £11,000.
The cocaine was discovered by police during an operation on Aberdeen’s Guild Street.
A four-figure sum of cash was also recovered by officers.
Michael Perks, 26, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court charged in connection with the drugs recovery.
Perks, whose general address is given as Wolverhampton, is facing a charge of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
He is also charged with drugs possession.
During the hearing he made no plea and the case was committed for further examination.
Perks was remanded in custody.
A spokeswoman from the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service said it is expected that he will appear in court again within the next week.
