A man has appeared in court after an alleged attempted robbery at an Aberdeen shop.
Ryan Henderson, 29, whose general address was given as Aberdeen, appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court facing a number of charges.
He is accused of assault by threats and robbery, possession of a bladed item, assault and attempted robbery and assault.
He made no plea and the case was continued for further examination.
Henderson was also released on bail in the meantime.

The court heard that police had been called to Hilton Convenience Stores on Hilton Road at around 7.50am on Tuesday.
This was following reports of an alleged attempted robbery.
