
A MAN is today fighting for his life in hospital after a two-car crash on a North-east road.
The man had to be airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after the smash on the B976 Birse to Finzean road last night.
Police are now appealing for information.
The crash happened near to the junction with Finzean Old School, just before 7.15pm.
A silver Porsche and a grey Toyota Hilux were involved in the crash
The 30-year-old male driver of the Porsche was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to be treated for life threatening injuries.
The occupant of the Toyota Hilux was uninjured.
The road was closed for several hours afterwards but was reopened just after 4am.
