A man is to go on trial accused of having a “dangerously out of control” dog on an Aberdeen street.
Suril Shah, 39, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and denied the charge against him.
Prosecutors alleged he was the owner of a husky and that on October 4 last year at the city’s Jesmond Drive, Bridge of Don, the canine was dangerously out of control.
It is alleged that the animal bit a man on the hand, injuring him.
Shah, whose address was given in court papers as Glenbuchat, Strathdon, will go on trial in February.
A pre-trial hearing was set for January.
