A man is due to appear in court today in connection with an alleged raid on a cash machine in Aberdeen.
Police were called to the Spar shop on Clifton Road in the early hours of March 6 after receiving reports that an ATM had been damaged. Nothing was taken.
A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Detective Inspector Fionnuala McPhail, who is leading the investigation, said: “Thank you to all those who provided us with information in connection with this investigation at the time.
“Our inquiries are still ongoing and I would encourage anyone with information to contact 101 using reference number 0156 of 6 March, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.”
