A man has been charged in relation to alleged drugs offences following the recovery of drugs with an estimated street value of £14,500 in Aberdeen.
The recovery of heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis resin – along with some cash – was made in the Wingate Road area of Tillydrone at around 6.50pm on Thursday during routine patrols in the area.
The recoveries were made from both a vehicle and a property.
The man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
Detective Sergeant Mike Reynolds said: “We are committed to tackling the issue of drugs misuse in the north-east. Through the work of an officer who noticed something that didn’t look quite right, we have removed a quantity of drugs that was destined for local communities in Aberdeen.
“If you notice any unusual activity or something that isn’t quite right please call 101 with details as it may prove highly useful in disrupting the circulation of illegal drugs in our communities.”
