A man has died following an incident at a North-east farm.
Gary Coutts, 32, died on a farm in Auchnagatt on the outskirts of Ellon just after 1pm yesterday.
As a result of the incident Mr Coutts died at the scene.
An investigation into the death at the farm has been launched by Police Scotland.
It is not being treated as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “An investigation into the death of a man has been launched.”
Two fire crews were also sent to the scene from Maud and Ellon to assist the police and paramedics.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “We were called to an incident at a farm in Auchnagatt yesterday at around 1.10pm.
“Our two appliances from Ellon and Maud used a spinal brace, a short extension ladder and defibrillator while at the scene.”
Police Scotland confirmed that the Mr Coutts’s family and friends have been informed of his death.
