A man who died after being found injured on an Aberdeen street has been named by police.
Douglas Brandie, 59, was found by a member of the public at Shapinsay Court at around 12.30am on Tuesday.
His family today paid tribute to him.
In a statement through police they said: “Douglas was a much loved son, brother and uncle.
“He had recently retired and was looking forward to his leisure time.
“He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.”
Inquiries into Mr Brandie’s death continue and anyone who saw him between the Three Lums pub on Lewis Road and the Shapinsay Court area between 11pm on Monday and 12.30am on Tuesday is asked to contact police on 101.
