A man has been cut free from the wreckage of a vehicle after a crash on a north-east road.
The smash involved a bus, car and van on the A96 five miles east of Elgin.
Emergency services have closed the route and said the severity of injuries was currently unclear.
Police Scotland received numerous calls, including one from the Scottish Ambulance Service which sent two units to the scene.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent three appliances with firefighters using hydraulic cutting equipment to cut the man loose from the vehicle.
Police Scotland said it expected the route to reopen by 8pm.
Road Closure A96
The A96 just West of Lhanbryde at Threapland is temporarily closed in both directions due to a road accident.
Drivers are advised to take alternate routes if possible.
The road will hopefully reopen in next 30 – 45 mins.
