A MAN has been cut free from a car after a crash with a lorry on a North-east road.
The incident happened on the A90 Hatton to Longhaven road, at the Cruden Bay turn-off.
Emergency services, including the police, fire service and ambulance crews, were called to scene.
The crash involved a lorry and a Land Rover. The man, who was in the car, was cut free by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS).
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said his injuries were not life threatening.
The man was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after being assessed by paramedics at the scene.
A spokesman for the SFRS added: “We sent three appliances to the scene – one from Peterhead and two from Ellon.
